2. CNN just did a story on this and said the temp was 8 above average!

That is A LOT!!! Does everyone agree that this is happening way faster than predicted. Ice melts, overall higher temps, etc are at levels not expected for another 30-70 years, not now. I read on DU last night that some scientists are changing their predictions with the new data and by 2100 (80 years) the ave temp on Earth will be 5.4°- 9° higher. WOW!

I suggest people think twice when planning a new family.
