68. Anyone seen the Netflix' "The Family"?

It is explaining their dummass, elitist view:

So God still loved David even though he lusted after a married woman, got her pregnant and then, because the husband was a good Jewish man who refused to have relations with Bathsheba before going into battle. So David sent him out in the front of the battle to make sure he was killed, essentially murdering this man.

The Family's point being that if God still loved and designated David to be king, then anyone God "chooses" can do whatever he wants. It was The Family's duty to stay out of the limelight and protect whomever they deem "designated." They tell the president (or other people in power) that they are "chosen" by God. They have done this with every president since Eisenhower and this included tRump as well as with other world leaders.

This freaking nimrod thinks God "chose" him because this elitist unchristian group of freaks arbitrarily decided he was now THE "chosen" one. They are the ones who sponsor the prayer breakfasts and while they are Christians, try to heal partisan discord, and do allow other faiths to participate. The Moonies, whose own leader declared himself the Messiah, are part of this group. Graham, the American University elite, Karen Pence (yes Mike Pence's wofe) all of them schmooze with that group in order to get more power and money in their pockets. These freaks try to manipulate the world country's politics and have no morals such as not to kill, to step on others to gain power and money, cheat on their wives and families, all of it is OK with these immoral freaks. Do anything you want, kill millions and you will be blessed because God "chose" you.

I am a Christian but I am one those of us who believe in the separation of church and state. I most certainly do not believe in immoral things and especially expect my leaders to set a good example. I believe we should do all we can to minimize this group. Laugh at them, call them fools, destroy their position in the world, it need to be done. Yesterday.

Oh yeah ... and there is *no* proof archaeologically that David and Solomon ever existed. This is somewhat of a thorn in the sides of the Abraham faiths. Because they really have no proof these men ever walked this earth, which they all use this story to justify their bad deeds. As they use their elitist actions in The Family. This is a reason why tRump thinks he is "chosen"
