The apparent mental breakdown he's suffering might come as the fact he's overwhelmed by the tasks presidency requires.
Remember, this guy decided to run for FUN at the beginning, and also because his mega ego couldn't stomach an Obama joke at WH Corresponds Diner. This old capricious baby's self esteem took offense.
Remember his face on election night when he came to realize election wasn't a schoolyard game and that he really was called to serve. The stakes of power are far to high for his limited brain capabilities. He certainly doesn't even understand 10% of the issues he faces, both foreign and domestic.... So happens what was expected. He's having a collapse.
I just hope previous administration gave the nuclear button only to mentally stable people....
