In reply to the discussion: Mitch McConnell is a Russian Asset. [View all]Hortensis
(58,785 posts)32. Being fair to a man who's sold his influence for over 30 years
would be promising him ethical investigations and trials. So far as public knowledge goes, Moscow Mitch seems to have kept his activities officially legal, sometimes by writing and amending laws to make them so. Such as the law allowing Russians to donate unlimited dark money to his super PAC because donating to him directly is illegal.
From what I've read, the incidental cocaine discovered on one of his father-in-outlaw's cargo ships wouldn't be too illegal for the to be interested in, just far too small potatoes.

The NRA gave dumpco at least 32 million in 2016. They also donated to most republicans.

Thanks. I didn't know that. It still should be called out, specifying names and amounts?

If it comes from Russians via NRA, isn't that a huge problem? If not, it sure should be.

If that's the case (and I also think it may be a large %), it needs exposure before 2020

Moscow Mitch cut a deal with Deripaska. Aluminum plant in Kentucky. Presumably, big money.
