Besides, there really is no telling whether she's really in need of assistance. She could've been lying about the cleaning service just to annoy the guy. There are a lot of people out there that seem to be well off, but aren't. She should probably sell the car, though. Especially if she's not working. Get something used and functional and get rid of the big sedan.
I'm going to have to give the people at the welfare office some credit for catching her, if she's really committing fraud. She has a big mouth and I'm sure would spill something "useful" during a random interview. "What's your middle initial?" "Well, I was named after my mother, but my middle name was my father's mother. She was a great lady, but she only left me half of her $2 billion fortune. It's so hard to pay the cleaning lady with $100 bills."
