You me and @certainot

In some ways, though the internet is killing local media, it is sustaining alternative media. Where we used to have mostly alt-weeklies and mimeographed newsletters, and progressive radio that petered out, now we have robust discussion on forums, and Twitter, and Current Affairs, and places like TPM. The left’s communication amongst itself has never been so strong.

The hard part is figuring out how to reach the masses. Conservatives have done that with Fox and with radio.
