MSM prioritizes attention grabbing stories because crazy, extremism, violence, sex, those things sell papers & attract viewers/listeners.

While I dislike that they do this, I also came to the conclusion long ago that the majority of mainstream media are no longer in the business solely to report news. Unfortunately they're mostly owned by big corporations who are in the business to gain power and make $$$.

Most gospel based Christians I know lead caring, quiet lives of "love thy neighbour", "judge not" and the "Golden Rule. They feel they should share their beliefs by being an example of what Jesus taught, not by trying to force their beliefs on others like headline grabbing RW evangelicals do. Media will use their stories as fillers on slow news days but sadly, since TrumpliCons were bought and manipulated into power, those days seem to be very rare, closing in on extinction.

FWIW there are some churches and gospel based Christians and Xian ministers speaking out, John Pavlovitz is one that I've been following the longest.
