There's a reason that Pelosi isn't saying it. But I'm sure that even if she did, some people would just ignore what she said and still keep claiming that the Judiciary Committee hasn't started an impeachment inquiry, just like they're doing now as they pretend the committee hasn't said, in no uncertain terms, that it has.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) admitted in public Thursday evening that his panel is conducting “formal impeachment proceedings” against President Trump.
