He might want to look into the nature of his fear and paranoia, which can be self-fulfilling. If he lives, right now, in some sort of actuality of "danger" than fine, but what this mindset appears to be is a projected, deeper insecurity and I don't think we should all pay in so many ways for that kind of neurotic indulgence.

We never ever really know what's coming, but here we go again with the boy who cried wolf mentality that pokes people right in the lizard brain and sets off their self-protection inclinations and terrors that they expect the rest of us to coddle. Then, just add guns! Blood soup.
