3. It's called the CONGRESSIONAL Gold Medal, because it's awarded by CONGRESS.

If it were awarded by the President, it would be called the PRESIDENTIAL Gold Medal.

And the Medal of Honor is a completely different thing altogether.

Maybe you ought to try to do a little googling before getting outraged about something you apparently know nothing about.
