I have thought this too. Like a fight between good and evil. We all have a dark part of ourselves that we have to fight with and deal with, but the republicans are going full tilt toward giving rein to a darker side, selling their soul for certain rewards of money and privilege. I suppose this fight has been going on since the dawn of mankind, but stakes are bigger now. trump represents unbridled depravity.
