Anyone can register a domain and domain squatting is common. You will find similar domain names registered for Barrett and Hardiman. A group likely registered domains for every name on trumps shortlist, in hopes of either getting paid for the domain, or of the RNC or federalist society did it, to use for the confirmation fight.

It's common practice to register any domain names that may be useful in the future so someone else doesn't beat you to it.
