would be in jail and accused of terrorism.
The people were victims of an assault. If they had fought back, THEY would be arrested. The police are supposed to protect people exercising their 1st Amendment rights. Isn't that one of the reasons for the army of heavily-armed robo cops, tanks, National Guard etc? To protect law-abiding citizens?
Or maybe not!
