4. Impeachment isn't exactly a criminal trial

But when they prosecute criminal suspects who are accused of multiple crimes they often prosecute the easiest cases first.

Impeachment is as much a political act. Public sentiment will help put pressure on senators. That also argues for not waiting too long.

We also have a deadline of the election. I was told in another thread that the senate trial has to occur by the election or the house has to re-impeach

There are some causes for this impeachment that might be made stronger with more paperwork and investigation and getting a second impeachment vote might be hard. Would we be able to keep public sentiment on our side for that?

The end of the year is looming. It’s basically October already. We could impeach by the end of the year but would that mean the trial would happen after New Years with a month in between? That’s if McConnell even has a trial.

Yeah too many questions. I’m happy that things are moving but almost as happy that I don’t have to figure stuff like this out.
