Twitter is quite different from the traditional main stream media.
They have a policy that they often enforce to keep the rhetoric within certain boundaries. A lot of people get shut down every day, why should Trump be any different?
Allowing Trump to consistently violate those boundaries is reckless, and could result in violent action being taken by his followers. Some might argue it already has.
This could make Twitter criminally liable for allowing a call to violent action.

Twitter has a moral responsibility to take action here.
