Showing Original Post only (View all)Trump campaign is required to pre-pay for security of Thursday's rally in Mpls. No pay, No rally! [View all]
$530K bill from Mpls. to campaign may spur suit.
Tensions between Minneapolis city leaders and President Donald Trumps campaign escalated Monday when the campaign threatened to sue the city for trying to force it to pay $530,000 for security during this weeks rally.
Trumps campaign team said in a news release late Monday night that Mayor Jacob Frey is abusing the power of his office by conjuring a phony and outlandish bill for security to cover those costs for Thursdays campaign rally.
City officials told the Target Center, which is managed by AEG, that it would be responsible for paying the costs. The center then allegedly tried to pass the bill on to Trumps team and told them they would not be able to use the arena unless they agreed to the charges.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has been outspoken rejecting Trump from visiting Minneapolis. "He is not welcome here!"
This is awesome that Trump is being required to pre-pay for Thursday's rally security fees $530,000.
No pre-pay, no rally at the Target Center!

Scotland can put security at the entrance to Trump's golf course. Very good security.

One would think the trump campaign could well afford it seeing they raised 125 million

A law suit may bring welcome publicity to reveal Trump's cheating ways.

Way to be smart, MN! My hometown is still owed more than $50K from Donald's visit in 2016.
