(151,287 posts)Those of us who live in the area know that part of Minneapolis. It's going to be difficult even to get there tomorrow. The light rail will still be running, I think, anyhow, but if it is, it will be very crowded. The streets around the area shut down tonight at 8 PM and will not re-open until after the rally is over and everyone has left the area.
They're telling rally attendees to get there early in the morning to be processed into the Target Center. It's going to be a long, long wait to get in and there will be nothing to do inside once you are in. Boredom will be universal.
As for the protesters, it's impossible to guess how many will show up in the first place. I'm not hearing about a big effort to get people there, frankly. Perhaps people will just let the rally happen, which would be my first choice.
