She may be speaking of the press right now, but there is also total exhaustion, hormones, and loss of autonomy.
I always cringe when someone says that you will never know true love until you give birth, and that is true, but for most women those early months are so hard, regardless of the amount of help they get. Its been almost 30 years but I still remember looking at my bundle of joy and wondering when the happiness starts.
It does start, and you will feel the joy, but the beginning isnt all roses.
Im glad she spoke up!
