He cheated and moved out after years of me being the only one to try to make it work, so I moved away with the kids. He moved his girlfriend into 'our' house we had built together and they get to go on cruises and vacations to Vegas together. I get to go back to school in my 30's and raise 4 kids on my own (he sees them once a month, and gets to do the 'disneyland dad' thing with them, while spreading rumors about me 'living the high life' on child support. M'kay. It's a blast. 
) I had hoped he would 'see the light' but it hasn't happened - he's content to live his life far away from his own kids. I finally just got the separation agreement signed - it was supposed to be done the month I moved out, but there were some problems, and then I have been putting it off for the last 6 months. Every email or phone call from the lawyer was like a knife to my gut.
Anyway, hang in there. You definitely aren't alone.
