I agreed with the political point made by the previous posts, which is why I didn't dive into the discussion, though I felt personally aggrieved.

I am ultra sensitive to feeling of vulnerability most women feel when confronted by males in isolated situations.

I try to afford the maximum possible personal space when I sense the discomfort created by my presence.
