Why would anyone think breaking the law would harm Trump? After Jan 21 2020 then new crimes can be prosecuted before the five year statute of limitations runs out. Or if Trump loses in 2020, a real possibility, but uncertain. But otherwise he will probably get away with his crimes. Bank fraud may snag him under New York law. If he lied in loan applications.
