In reply to the discussion: Another rant from Hank Williams Jr. [View all]BlueMTexpat
(15,690 posts)75. Back in the long-ago days when Mr MTExpat and I
attended outdoor country music festivals, HW Jr was an opening night "headliner" at one of them.
He came on, sang a few songs - poorly - and left even before the anticipated end time.
The year before, at the same festival, Willie Nelson was the headliner. Willie & his band stayed on and on, even though it was raining. Willie's comment was: "So long as y'all are willin' to be out there in the rain, we're willin' tuh sing." Finally, even WN had to bow to nature's powers, but not before one h*** of a concert!
Willie gives his audiences even more than they paid for. HW Jr doesn't even give them their money's worth.
That's a big difference between Dems and Reps right there.
Screw HW Jr! And this is a former "cowgirl" speaking.
