I use the 50 mg/mL bottles and inject .25 mL then wait about 45 minutes and if no relief I do it one more time. The same doze a one or two over the counter pills. Going thru the stomach reduces the effect and time to work. One time, before I got it, I took 6 pills and still ended up in the ER. They asked if I took anything for it and I told the doctor I took 6 pills. He said that was too many. I then asked what he was putting in my drip, he said more Benadryl.

I end up using it about 2 or 3 times a year.
