It's scary, but.
The increasing lack of control of Trump threw a spotlight on the fact that this book was written before the example f Trump's decision to turn Syria/ME military domination over to Russia. Announced to the world, apparently undiscussed with even a passing aide, much less his advisers, after a one-on-one call from Turkey's president.
But I don't believe for a second that Putin hadn't already been long discussing this with him. And that all advisers were aware.
