And I can assure you that new folks are always welcome to join in the chaos.

Might I suggest to you that there is something of an unfortunate tendency for folks to raise an eyebrow when someone walks in the door and starts taking swings at folks whom we have known and loved for quite some time.

Now, I say that is unfortunate, because it does tend maybe to make some folks a little shy at first.

But you would be surprised to find out that we sometimes have people sign up, say outrageous things, and then show up on other sites pretending to be shocked at something that was posted on DU.

For example, I'm sure there are folks here who get all sorts of high blood pressure moments, but I would suspect that having detailed violent fantasies about others around them, is pretty rare around here. It does, on the other hand, appear common among people who seem to have the inclination to express their political views using violence.
