through his succession not election. But it was a much longer time to actually be president than Pence would have.

That said, Trump doesn't care about the party or who succeeds him. Repukes may. And my bet is that they have their eyes on Nikki running with pence to add pizzazz and recapture female suburban vote.

I have noticed that trump hasn't pushed "ruler for life lately". He's probably bored as hell. Won't be able to get away with as much now that we are finally impeaching. So I'm agreeing he will get out before rather than run and lose.

I think you may be right...he's ready to get out. Isn't he building a church? I can see that he's realizing he'll never get the admiration of all ..so what better environment than his faithful is there for a narcissist?
