There are plenty of right wing nut jobs who will gladly take Stone's place, they're brought up with the notion that if you can't win while following the rules then win by playing dirty.

A few years ago I read a news story about a group of college repubs who hid the schools' van on election day to prevent the campus Democratic organization from driving disadvantaged people to their polling place. Certainly one of those slimeballs will be along shortly to take over where Stone left off.
