(6,526 posts)I read the Judiciary interview of Simpson last year. It is available on line to read, and it is very interesting. This interview was voluntary but with restrictions in order to protect people that Fusion deemed vulnerable. They had their lawyer head off some stuff throughout the testimony.
If you put Fusion GPS into Google and click on The Daily Beast link, you can read this 312-page interview at the end of the article.
When I brought this up to another forum last year, no one was much interested in it. I thought it was a remarkable document because somewhere in the pages it came to light that Fusion itself became alarmed and actually attempted to notify the FBI about stuff, but nothing was done about it, or so it seemed.
There are a lot of familiar names in the document. Because the document is so long, I think a lot of people don't care about it, but it is well worth the read. As I recall, Fusion refused to give up the name of the Repub that originally requested their investigation, but everything else is revealed pretty much. The Steele dossier was definitely initiated in the Repub camp.
