based on the walk to the motorcade on his way to Walter Reed:
He was walking briskly. If he had had a stroke or heart attack, he would have been stooped and walking slowly. Also, his usual level of slurred speech and incoherence hasn't changed. That tells me that he was injured.
I think that he had a fall and injured his something in or near his left arm. It could have been his collar bone or one of the arm joints.
