Every good criminal knows that at some point they may be threatened, That's why they keep items of interest in a safe deposit box with them having to be present to gain access, and also an accomplice to "mail the package out in the event of my death". Was he murdered? Don't know but that cache of materials is out there somewhere, just waiting.....
