13. NATO leaders have finally learned how to deal with Trump.

Laugh at his ignorance and his braying about all his nonexistent accomplishments. European leaders have essentially written off the US, and they’re forming alliances without us. The US has been a world leader my whole life. It’s hard to imagine how things will change as we continue to lose our status. It isn’t just Trump—it’s the Republican Party too as they have shown their willingness to support unlawful actions that damage other countries. World leaders can no longer trust either the president or half of Congress. And they do not trust US citizens because we are the people (not us personally) who continue to elect representatives who have shown that they care more about their own power than preserving traditional alliances and the rule of law.
