6. As soon as I heard that Rudy was in Ukraine

I assumed that he was on a dirt collecting mission to use for the Senate trial.

The Senate will subpoena Joe and Hunter and Roberts will allow it. Even if Roberts rules them irrelevant to the charges, the Senate can override him with enough votes.

The 'dirt' that Rudy brings back will be intended to support their claim of corruption by the Bidens. I expect it will be coerced ststements from someone in Ukrsine. Or maybe false documents. The source of Rudy's 'proof' will need to be investigated, which takes time. Or maybe the source will be someone whose credibility is alresdy dubious.

The House manager (prosecutor) will need to refute whatever Rudy has gathered. The. House.most.likely is already anticipating this and getting prepared for it.
