(6,913 posts)24. On metformin 10 plus years for type II. A little diarrhea if I eat excess fats. A1c 5.9. Love it.

My mom took it for years and did well on it. Lost quite a bit of weight which she loved.

It got my A1c, fasting and postprandial numbers all under control. No ill side effects here.

I went on Keto-16 with Intermittent Fasting. Lost 75lbs, BP and sugars normal, fatty liver repaired.

Those BP numbers have an extremely narrow pulse pressure. Incompatible with life
