A senior White House official has lost his Hopewell Junction (NY) home as a result of a foreclosure action.

Dan Scavino, considered President Trump’s Director of Social Media, purchased the 4,200 square foot home on St. Andrews Road in the Legends at Beekman Country Club in 2008, with his wife at the time, Jennifer. According to county land records, the couple paid $560,000 for the house.
By the time the Scavinos purchased the home, Dan had developed a very strong personal relationship with President Trump, having worked as a caddie at Trump National Golf Course in Westchester since he was 16 years old.

In April of 2015, Scavino used Twitter to announce that his wife, 39-years-old at the time, had been suffering from Chronic Inflammatory Polyneuropathy Disease developed after contracting Lyme disease from a tick bite. Just two months later, Scavino was working on the Trump campaign.
A month after that, in July, the Scavinos filed for bankruptcy citing mounting medical expenses relating to Jennifer’s disease. The couple and their two children continued to live in the Hopewell Junction home.

In January of 2018, Jennifer Scavino filed for divorce in Dutchess County.
