gain some right leaning centrists and figure that the left has nowhere else to go, so it is great to treat them like that red-headed step child, because only centrists matter!

Never do anything bold, because the status quo is just fine.

The ACA was a first step.

I don't know if you are aware of this but a lot of people are still unable to access health care, because between enormous copays and out of pocket amounts, they can't afford that trip to the doctor.

Then, if they do get sick, insurance covers some, but there are still huge copays that end up with bankruptcy or just deciding not to hobble their families with massive medical debt, so they just don't seek treatment. Insurance is awesome, until you need more than a check-up.

The ideas of Sanders and Warren aren't all that far out there, but they do benefit human people, which I guess is just asking too much.

And again, I'll end up voting for whoever the nominee is, even if that person promises that nothing will change, that all wealth will continue to go exclusively to the top earners, because it's true: I've got nowhere else to go.

So, I guess you guys win. Eventually, maybe you'll have enough centrists to jettison us lefties for once and all.
