(7,604 posts)do NOT have the support of the majority of US voters. I wonder because, at last count, ALL of the political policies promoted by candidates like Sanders and Warren are policies with which the majority of voters agree.
But we are subjected to the FRAMING of the issues most popular with the general population that somehow morph into "far-left" affairs. The framing of the issues emanate from two sources: the GOP/RW media and some "moderate" Democrats. Those moderate Democrats only want votes for themselves, so they long to create rhetorical distinctions within the Democratic Party that favor their own sect.
Health care premiums are still going up; medical debt bankruptcies are still going up. GOPers and Dem moderates have an answer: more of the same.
