I was just trying to explain to a friend of mine who excitedly called me (she knows very little about politics and even less about the rules) saying her daughter had just texted her that dt is out!!!! Yea!!! She tells me I must be VERY happy...
Once again, I had to explain to a friend that Impeached does not mean being removed from office! I've had to explain this recently more times than I can count! I frickin' wish our Framers had used another word for Impeached (something similar to indicted) and saved the word Impeached for when they're removed.
