63. Oh no! Now, I'm crying.

My son was devastated when he found out the result of the 2016 election.

I couldn’t look at, listen to, or read the news for several months afterward.

I took him with me when I voted in our recent local election. Two of our neighbors are poll workers (and Democrats!) at our polling place. We saw another neighbor there. My son proudly wore his “Future Voter” sticker for the rest of the day! We frequently discuss politics and policy.
Well-educated children are our future!
