in the long run will they truly listen to? The polls are not very favorable to rump and the republicans at this point in time, and the show that they all put on during the impeachment voting process by republican House of Representatives members didn't go very far in convincing any voters of their convictions that rump is innocent.

Screaming and yelling, if anything, probably turned off quite a few people. It did me, especially when viewed w/ any so called 'facts' presented by any of the republicans (no facts) to counter what rump criminally did, and even worse, the republicans said that the impeachment process was wrong (based on nothing basically), even though it's clearly written in the Constitution as a remedy to counter the president's illegal actions.
