I think we're at a turning point [View all]

Posted in several threads is news of the latest Politico/Morning Consult poll showing 52% of the country favors a trial and removal.

Conservative groups are becoming vocal in their disgust with Trumpism. It is being reported here, in GD, right now. A group of Mormon women are making their views clear. Some measure of GOP women in South Carolina are turning on Trump's main asswiper, Lindsey Graham. National Review's editor Ramesh Ponnuru calls for a trial and removal. The Never Trumpers are no longer quietly in the background. People self-identifying as former Republicans are, like Never Trumpers, making their presence known.

Our job is to make sure this is widely known. That it is okay to own the disgust you feel toward Trump. A PR campaign. An ad campaign. Talking points. Give them a platform. Spread the word. It is safe to come in from the cold.

Even if this doesn't get him removed from office, it will not be good for his reelection.
