It's a stark but vivid example/reminder of where we are at this moment. I agree that Trump is an enormous security risk to the country and the world, a man who acts on raw impulse. I have no doubt he'll do anything to save his own skin from impending impeachment proceedings, even at the cost of American lives. The horrifying thing is to listen to the war hawks beating the familiar drum and (as you mentioned down thread), seducing the young with thoughts of war glory.
War with Iran? A bloodbath in the making.
We never seem to learn.
