Two points.
1. Wag the dog when you're in trouble on the home front and want to change the subject.

2. There is a whole contingent of hawks that have wanted a war with Iran. Bolton's name is at the top of the list followed by Bibi, Putin and their puppet Trump.

Trump wants and needs to be a "war president" to deal with his political troubles at home including the 2020 election. A classic GOP move start a war to rally the troops. And put up a shield from attacks on the "war president".

Why do we keep falling for this crap.
