10. No matter what you think of Clinton's legacy or his politics

He's a charming guy and always, always charms the crowd. I remember after 9/11, when Clinton spoke feeling better, safer. That's a good tool to have in our tool chest. Clinton makes us remember the prosperity of his presidency, hoping that feeling will somehow rub off on those undecided voters. Bubba did his job last night, making people feel warm and cozy. President Obama's job is to take that warm, fuzzy feeling and wrap it in the reality of his plans for the next four years.

It's not about topping Clinton's speech, it's about using Clinton's speech to further the Democratic platform and I think our President is up for the job.
