would include wording to the effect of "the President is immediately removed from office, and the Vice President will be sworn in as President at once."

So, yes, removal would be immediate, and the VP would be sworn in immediately. Then, the removed President would be physically removed from the White House if he had not already left the premises. He would no longer be the President and would thus have no business in that building.
