(761 posts)I, like many in this thread, own and use guns for hunting (upland birds, big game) and for protection of property, in this case farm animals and pets. The fact that these clowns with their AR-15s think they speak for the average gun owner is almost comical. Except it's also scary. The "protection from tyranny" argument slays me, always has. "Need my AR for when the damn gummint comes after me." 1) you're talking about the damn US military, you clowns. If the us government ever turned tyrannical, its instrument is the US DAMN MILITARY!! WTF is your AR 15, or all the AR 15s on earth, in the face of that?
2) most of them have a "support the troops" sticker on their car. You know, the instruments of potential tyranny from up above? Stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid.
