5. The 24 hours of presenting the case doesn't start on Wednesday at 1 pm

Certain motions will be considered starting at 1 pm. It is not until all of those motions are debated and voted upon that the trial presentations begin. Probably not until Thursday.

Also, all of this is contingent on McConnell's resolution being adopted as is. My understanding is that amendments can be offered and a certain amount of time is allotted to debating them.
