(6,647 posts)87. Thanks, I'm drinking the equivalent of Lake Michigan everyday
to avoid the dehydration. I'm usually good for one flu cycle per year, despite getting the shots religiously.
They rejiggered our Sick Plan this year and reduced hours available. Sadly, as a result, I expect our office to be a petri dish each winter.

Also a lot of Vitamin D, unless on an antidepresant. Low Vitamin D linked to Spanish Flu epidemic.

I've read that a flu shot will lessen the symptoms even if you still get the flu
