Even so, I argue in favor of it every chance I get, and my primary vote will go to either Sanders or Warren in part because of this issue. Personally, I'd rather act according to my conscience, and not try to second-guess the rest of the electorate. In the long run, I don't think it's helpful to assume defeat - as I said in my OP, that can become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
