Trump's too dumb and waaayyy too talkative to be an agent. But he is motivated solely by his own self-interest and that plays right into Putin's hands. I think it's entirely possible that Trump is so indebt to Russian oligarchs tied to Putin via Deutchebank that he's not going to do anything that might pull that rug out from under himself.
