The courts have been loaded with extreme Federalist Society judges who like, Barr, subscribe to the concept that the president has unlimited power over every government agency. This why he was chosen for the highest position as Attorney General. Their radical interpretation of the Second Article know as the Unitary Executive Theory is at the very basis of this confrontation. They control the Supreme Court which could make it the law of the land which could stand for decades without the hope of being overturned.
